Charles W. Simpson (1885–1971) was a British landscape and animal painter associated with the Newlyn and St Ives art colonies in Cornwall. Known for his expressive paintings of horses, birds, and coastal scenes, Simpson studied under Lucy Kemp-Welch and exhibited at the Royal Academy.
His work combines impressionistic brushwork with a strong focus on movement and natural atmosphere, making him a notable figure in early 20th-century British art. Today, Charles W. Simpson paintings are sought after by collectors of Cornish art, animal painting, and traditional British landscapes.
