Sherree Valentine-Daines is an internationally  known oil painter and over the years has earned the title of being ‘the face of modern British impressionism’. Artist Sherree Valentine Daines was born in 1956 in Effingham, Surrey. She came from an artistic family; her father was a sculptor and stonemason. Following on from her early education, Valentine-Daines went on to study at the Epsom School of Art and design between 1976-1980.

Valentine-Daines paintings are formidable but especially her more recognised  figurative works. Her remarkable portraits capture the essence of celebrities, politicians, and even members of the Royal Family. Valentine-Daines compositions showcases society scenes like Royal Ascot and the Henley Regatta, as well as beautiful childhood moments in her paintings such as Cornwall beach holidays.

Over the course of her extensive career, Valentine-Daines has become one of the UK’s most collectible contemporary artists. Her impressionistic approach lends a charismatic yet unique look to each piece. Her subtle blending of each detail creates a dreamy look creating a captivating elegance. Valentine Daines has been at the forefront of British art for over 35 years. Her paintings have been exhibited at prestigious venues such as the Tate Gallery, the Barbican, and the Lord’s Museum and are held in many private collections all over the world.
